The challenge here is to develop fail-safe flight safety critical components and at the same time incorporate the latest trends in production techniques and IT. The development of these products requires several years, as well as a multitude of people. This calls for an optimal interaction between technology, man and nature. Equally important is the integration of suppliers because they make a significant contribution to product development through their capacity for innovation.
