The pressure on automotive manufacturers to bring premium products to market economically and in ever shorter intervals is rising constantly. In order to be prepared and to not impair co-operations with international teams, processes have to be stringently designed and product data kept up to date and collaboration-ready at all times.

Aside from ease of integration of development and production processes, commercial success of the manufacturer also depends on smooth co-operation with his suppliers. Likewise, for suppliers this means being able to meet ever more complex and comprehensive demands. Here Change Management, for example, plays an important role. Enormous amounts of engineering data have to arrive at the right contact partner, independently of time and location, in the proper data format. This has to be guaranteed beyond the system's limits. This dynamic is placing rapidly rising pressure to innovate and reduce costs also on suppliers.
